My roommate had that one and it sounded pretty good at 50 bucks.

I'll tell you now that altec lansing makes awesome speakers, so don't hesitate to buy them if they catch your eye. They're deffinately worth it. Also shop around and you'll get them much cheaper in certain stores. (I didn't shop around, and ended up getting a lower model for more than the latest one).

LOL, I love how they show you in great detail the difference between the speaker and the subwoofer.

2 + 1 = 2.1 kids!

Yeeeah, Altec Lansing rocks for sub $200 systems. I got a nice 2.1 system that sounds great, was only like 30 bucks too. Can't beat that.
