Call of Duty Mobile has ‘topped 650 million downloads’

Are you aware than The Witcher 3 is running on the switch?
Is the game running on mobile?

So?
The vast majority of people don't buy a new phone every year.
That have nothing to do, with mobile manufacturers upgrading their phone every year, with new technology.

What are you talking about?! This is not the point AT ALL!!
That is the main point. They can't run those games. They need time and upgrade for them to run it. Which is why I gave it 5-10 years.
Why are you making it more complicate than what it is.

MAU ≠ number of downloads

You just prove my point several times between this circus of yours.

Now, put me in your ignore list and run like a coward from a conversation you can't prove your weak and wrong ass nonsensical point.
You are really an idiot person.
It literally told you in the 1st sentence.
Do you have reading problems?
And good luck ignoring me. Arguing with you is literally pointless, when you dont understand shit.

You just said and I quote:

"Current mobile can only run switch games".

That have nothing to do, with mobile manufacturers upgrading their phone every year, with new technology.

So what are you saying is that Phones are going to be more powerful that consoles because consoles don't upgrade every year? That's what you are saying? Right?
Bruh.

But consoles and PC are going to increase in power and technology as well. Negating you point. It does not matter if takes 4-5 years.

Optimization is a huge aspect of game making.

Again, I dunno why you bring this point to this topic, is utterly irrelevant.

650 million people are playing one game in these regions? Or playing that one game enough to prove that mobile is bigger than gaming?
Console players don't play 1 game. They play different games. Same for mobile.

With a controller and a big TV?
You dont need a TV for mobile games. They are easy to use normally. Easy commands and you are good to go.

I forgot the '?'. I was making a point that you need to connect to other people via the internet in order to play online games. If the internet isn't good enough for consoles to play online, how is it good enough for people to play on games?
Mobile games don't need powerful internet. You can play mobile games with your phone data.
Also, you aren't wasting 100gb downloading games. So you have long way to play mobile games, without wasting your data.

I'll wait to see if you can connect the dots between one company selling a supposed shite load of tech and 3 companies at a minimum, almost blankly refusing to sell their tech in those countries.
Again, mobile phones are easier to get on those countries. Simply because of social pressure.
Also, having a system available means you are selling that system. Consoles lack marketing in those 2 countries. Unlike phones, which you need for texting, call and other stuff.
And mobile games thrive from that.

I don't doubt that. People need a fix some way.
That is why mobile had alot of users. Games are free most of the time, so you don't need to spend money to buy it. Plus you don't buy a mobile for video games. You buy them for other purposes.
While consoles on other hand, have 1 purpose. Play video games, which you have to spend money to buy it. Aside of f2p ones.

"Current mobile can only run switch games".
That is their limit. They can't run the witcher 3.
Just because the witcher 3 can run on Switch, doesn't mean mobile should be able to run.
Only weak games, which the switch is too strong for, can run on mobile right now.

So what are you saying is that Phones are going to be more powerful that consoles because consoles don't upgrade every year? That's what you are saying? Right?

Phones are being upgraded by Samsung and Apple every year. While consoles are being upgraded every 4-8 years by Sony, MS and Nintendo.

Users have no business with these upgrades. Its the manufacturers, which enhances those systems.

MAU on Consoles and PC Is BIGGER than MAU on mobile on call of duty. Even though Call of duty mobile has more downloads right? And waaaay bigger installed base of smartphone devices right?

What does that tell you?:

That on PC/Consoles (with a fraction of the installed base) people engage MORE in a MONTH that on Mobile.

As simple as that. I dunno why you fail to see the facts. You have to much confirmation bias in your little bubble.

You can't be this stupid?

Maybe you can be.

Yeah you definitely can be this stupid

That's fair logic. I can't argue with that.

and then you shit the bed again with this statement.

Let's bring it back to basics. Do you believe that a) 650 million people are playing COD mobile, and B) they are doing so more than they are playing COD of console?

"We at activeplayer.io have estimated that 70% or 210 million are actively playing the CoD: Mobile and only 10% or 30~ million players are playing it daily."

I dont know how hard is to read this.

650m people downloaded the game. Played it. And some of those people stayed to play the game, while the rest left to play other games.
Its that simple.
You guys are going so far with this shit.
Its feels like I am arguing with 2 stupid people.
Call of duty is 1 simple game, like how it is on consoles.
Just like how console users play other games, those other users play other mobile games.

So no to both A) and B) then? 650 million people aren't playing it and it isn't as popular as the console version.

If you take those numbers at face value they make your point (or whatever you a traying to say) even worst.

you are looking desperate traying to prove something that is factually wrong.

MAU console/PC >>> MAU on mobile.

if what you are trying say is true; MAU on mobile would be waaaaaaaay bigger than consoles/PC.

650m people downloaded the game. And you are saying its not popular?

Warzone has 100m players, who since launch, launched the game. And you are saying those numbers are popular than those 650m mobile users?

Math at its finest.

Dude, Your MAU is literally lower than 10m. Warzone had 100m users played, since the launch of the game. Mobile did 650m download, and start the game. And you are hell bent on those console+pc numbers being higher than mobile?

In any case, even if 600m people stopped playing, that would still leave 50m people playing the game. That is higher than Warzone MAU users. Even if we make those mobile users 10m users, it would still be higher than mobile users.

Activision banned millions of warzone players, and those players played the game again with new accounts.

I'm saying that the 650 million number is bollocks. I'm questioning how you're ranking popularity because, by your own admission, a person playing on mobile is having a throw-away session between dropping off the kids, and people on console are sat at home playing for longer sessions.

Is Not "MY" MAU. Is form Activision itself Bruh.

Is in the fucking OP man. Ready it:

"The number of people experiencing Call of Duty on mobile each month almost matched those playing on console and PC in 2021

Almost = close but smaller.

In any case, even if 600m people stopped playing, that would still leave 50m people playing the game. That is higher than Warzone MAU users. Even if we make those mobile users 10m users, it would still be higher than mobile users.
PC/Console MAU is bigger than mobile.

Irrelevant..

Look man, just stop and really think you point and arguments before posting dumb shit.

You are describing a console user too. Only hardcore people play in for hours.
Most regular people will play couple matches, before they go and do their stuff.

warzone isnt a single player game. Its a BR game, which requires you a couple of runs, and you go and do your stuff. Same thing with call of duty mobile.

This used to be the case, but since lockdowns, most women I know, and a few I don't, play COD warzone with their 'team' (what happened to the word clan? Too racist?) for hours on a night, every night. It's anecdotal and a localised example but the hardcore gamer is no longer defined by hours played.

Lockdown changed everything. Huge boost for everything. Sadly those people went their lives, and only us is being left alone.
