Produced by Square Enix Collective

Circuit Superstars is the Next Game to Partner With Square Enix Collective

Circuit Superstars (formerly known as Apex Racing League) was announced tonight at Square Enix’s E3 Conference as the latest title from the company’s Square Enix Collective publishing arm. The cutesy racer debuted a brand new trailer this evening. Watch it below.

Circuit Superstars is a physics-based racer that you play from a top-down perspective. It gives the game an arcadey look; however, the devs claim to be working toward more realistic tactile driving physics. It’s a combination that could make for a quirky little gem, especially on the go.

The team at Original Fire Games is small but is made up of gearhead game developers. They want to bring every era of motorsport to their product. Thus, you can expect to see everything from “60s-inspired single-seaters to souped-up GT specials” included in the game.

Past Square Enix Collective games include Black The Fall, The Turing Test, Tokyo Dark, and Goetia. As Square Enix has continued to add games to the library, they’ve made it a point to improve their catalog’s diversity. Circuit Superstars should fit right in.

Circuit Superstars is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2020. Keep your eyes here on Dualshockers for all the info coming out of E3 this week.

I like it! RC Pro Am with a "sim" twist to it sounds delightful.

It's kind of funny to think but this game has a better pit system than what they have in Forza Motorsport 7 :messenger_grinning_sweat:

The visuals are actually pretty cool.

I think Square won E3. Not because of this game (even though it looks good) but all of the RPG's they announced!
