Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a legit fantastic game and I would recommend people get a feel for it before it leaves, in case you want to get it with the 20% game pass discount.

Gaf, is chained echos any good?

This is a day 1 game, so there's no reviews to refer to.

There is a GAF hype topic about it someone made a few days back:

Great month hopefully high on life is a sleeper it looks really good

And this is only the first half ;)

Expecting some more bangers in the 2nd half for Christmas.

Keen to rent High on Life and see if it hits at all. I think the humour & it's frequency will either make or break the experience.

Oh yeah Eastward! Wanted to buy it on Switch since forever.

Also isn’t the Riot partnership supposed to go live this month?

My kids and I will enjoy the LEGO. Is it just the old LEGO Star Wars games in one collection or are they new games?

Excited for Lego star wars, they’re such chill games 😊 Does the discount apply as soon as the game comes on gamepass or is it only when due to leave to tempt people to buy it?

You mean the 20% ? It applies to stuff that's already on there since the day it goes out (I'm fairly certain).

Yeah I mean the discount to buy it. No doubt this’ll be gone in a year so tempted to buy it asap if the discount it good

I'll copy paste this helpful post I found elsewhere:

You get a 20% discount on any game currently on Game Pass, with the only exception being games that release directly to Game Pass, in which case they have no discount initially, and then it's phased in over a few months (IIRC it's 10% after 30 days, then the full 20% after 90), which is a measure put in place to prevent people using Game Pass trial codes (or just signing up for a single month) just to get a discount on a brand new game.

The discount goes away once the game leaves the service, so if a game is leaving and you want to keep playing it, you'll want to buy it before it goes (unless you're OK with waiting for a deeper sale later on).

If a third-party game goes on a particularly deep sale while still on Game Pass, it can be worth picking up anyway if its something you want to keep (the Game Pass discount doesn't stack with a sale discount, however; you just get whichever is the higher of the two).

Definitely check out Hot Wheels Unleashed and The Skywalker Saga!

HWU is an actually really impressive arcade racer. I was pleasantly surprised when it launched. Skywalker Saga is the best LEGO Star Wars game that has dropped. A lot of content and replayability. Plenty of charm too!

I just fuckin bought Lego Star Wars on series x last week….. just makes me want to cancel my subscription .

If you haven't put in more than an hour or two, you can ask for refund and they're usually good about that.

Yeah but hot-wheels how much of a difference is it, compared to getting the tracks in Forza Horizon 3 and 5?
