Cube must haves

I just picked up the Game Cube, 2 controllers, 2 memory cards, and Zelda:WW for 80 bucks. I'm currently in OoT so I dont want to start WW yet. I was thinking of picking up another game. What are the AAA titles on the GC?(no multi console games, I already have an Xbox/PS2) I'm leaning towards Monkey Ball because my wife may like it.

Monkey Ball (either one) are very good. Also, don't forget Metroid Prime, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and F-Zero GX.

Queen of Denmark
-Monkey Ball 1+2
-Super Mario Sunshine
-Metroid Prime
-Super Smash Bros.
-Viewtiful Joe
-Resident Evil Remake
-Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II (Rebel Strike only if you REALLY like RSII)
-F-Zero GX
-Skies of Arcadia
-Soul Calibur II
-Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
-Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes

I tried to list a game or two from a lot of different genres, so that list should have you fairly well covered, but there's a lot more than just that, I assure you.

My favorites are Viewtiful Joe, Ikaruga, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. You can't go wrong with any. Metroid Prime is also worth picking up, as I believe it's only $30 now.

My Girlfriend LOVES Monkey Ball 2, so that might be a good idea. I'd reccomend party games likes SSB:M, Monkey Ball 2, a cheap Mario Party, and other games that are now budget price all over.

If your looking for signle player, you can't go wrong with Metroid Prime, and maybe F-Zero or Ikaruga if you like simple yet really hard games.

If you are looking for something to play with your wife, Mario Kart Double Dash provides not only the wonderful competition of past Mario Karts, but a truly enjoyable co-op play that requires constant communication to properly play.

Ohhhh yeah, I totally forgot about Joe. Hmmmm I'm sure SMB 1 is cheap so maybe I'll get both.

-Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
-Metroid Prime
-Super Smash Bros.
-Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II
-F-Zero

Get these now. Along with either of the Monkey Balls. There really isn't that big difference between the 2 except that you should be able to find the first one for a lot cheaper.

Coming up

-Metroid Prime 2
-Resident Evil 4
-Paper Mario 2
-"Realistic" Zelda

/\ = The main reason I bought the thing.

I have heard mixed reviews on WW but I'm having so much fun with Oot. I thought I would give it a try.

SWEDISH PERFECTION
Both Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 are fun adventures too (especially the first one), the should both be pretty cheap by now.

Viewtiful Joe is cool, and F-Zero GX is fast. Both are hard, but I'd still recommend them. :)

Monkey Target in Super Monkey Ball 1 is the best reason to own a GC. Endless multiplayer fun

edit: I stress SMB1, not the bastardized SMB2 version of monkey target

This list goes without saying, but here are a few more to add to this list, which is by far the must have for any cube fan.

-Resident Evil Zero
-Zelda Windwaker (also if you can find the collectors discs thats a great disc to pick up)
-Giftpia (Iimport, its really cheap and its worth it)
-Animal Crossing
-PNO3 (maybe more so a rental but none the less great)
-Beach Spikers (why oh why did i get rid of this game)

none the less get these games and you'll be having fun in no time.

-Super Monkey Ball 2
-Super Mario Sunshine
-Metroid Prime
-Super Smash Bros. Melee
-Viewtiful Joe
-Resident Evil Remake
-Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II (Rebel Strike only if you REALLY like RSII. RSII is a two player game in Rebel Strike)
-Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
-F-Zero GX
-Skies of Arcadia (make sure to stick with it)
-Soul Calibur II
-Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
-Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
-Pikmin
-Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
-Animal Crossing (incredibly slow, yet just as addicting)
-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (make sure to stick with it until the end)

Then on the cheap side of things, Sonic Mega Collection is really good for $20. Also, if you have enough friends to do it, check out Pac-Man Vs., The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure (though the game is good enough in single player), and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (which is far from good in single player).

Coming up:

Donkey Konga
Resident Evil 4
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (multiplayer rocks)
Viewtiful Joe 2
Tales of Symphonia
Pikmin 2
Star Fox 2
Paper Mario 2
Baten Kaitos

Is that coming out soon?
September. Then again, the only confirmed upgrades so far are SD Dante as a hidden playable character and slightly lower IQ. Might not be worth the extra $20 really, I'd still wait to see what might be added though...
