Neither because I'll wait till I can find a Ps5 that isn't $1000

But if I did I'd go with Elden Ring
Don't want to piss in your shoe but I've been seeing freerly available ps5 bundles in media markt here in Poland since holidays.
Not even bad deals.

750 usd. That's ps5 disc version, Demons Souls, chivalry 2 and 12 months of ps+. There are also bundles with 2 controllers and so on. Freerly availably for weeks now. It is curious and I am not sure why :p Do people not want ps5 anymore

The problem where I'm at (in South America) is that retailers are just scalping the console themselves. It's freely available but the cheapest one on the marker right now is $1080.

Wallmart seem to be the only ones selling it at the regular price, but they'll just randomly drop some stock on their site with no warning and it will sell out in 5 minutes

I have no desire to be made miserable by any game, and endlessly rolling around while trying not to die sounds like torture.
Nah man, there's a difference between being challenged and being made miserable. Have you actually tried those games? They are not as hard as people make them out to be, and outside of a few bosses you can beat it no problem by just playing carefully.

I am sure it's just me, but remembering back HZD was not as good as a game I thought initially. That to say its still a solid 8/10

Hope they do something interesting with the story this time. have some stakes.

And you think changing the core design of this game to appeal your needs is what?

I'm pretty chill man. No need to get touchy, this game gonna be awesome regardless.
Stop worrying about the preferences of other people. Easy, medium and hard modes have always been a thing in video games. There is nothing wrong with giving people options.

They could make the default mode “hard” but offer a easy option for those that want to just explore and play the game “passively”. I don’t see what the issue would be in doing that.

Elden ring, you need to experience the ONLINE portion of those games at launch, theres no OP builds, only players learning the game, it makes the invasions way more tense, theres no WIKI to help you, your first playthrough without help is AWESOME, and then you can play again with a wiki help and you can see all those things you missed or did diferent, ill buy ELDEN RING and then after a few months horizon.

Horizon 1 is a beautiful and good game (7/10), its boring after a few hours.

Sry about my english.

Horizon !
The "captured on PS5" notes at the bottom of the screenshots, videos and combat gifs released by PlayStation have me very excited for the title.
They do this for all their games and it's a very effective marketing tactic imho: every time I think "It's my baby in the living room powering this game !"

Elden Ring, I am a big fan of From since Ds3,
but I need to determine wether I will get the PS5 or PC version. Dualsense integration or Ultrawide support could tip the balance either way.

And who told you I'm worrying? I was simply saying to you to play relaxing games instead.

You on the other hand seems angry by the design of a game that is in the market for a good time already. I'm pretty sure they're doing fine with the punishing design(I mean we have Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, etc) and I frankly don't think they have to worry about fellas like you when theres plenty of other different games in the market which can gives you what you want.

So to summarize, why should we both worry? The game gonnas be like that anyway because of its core design, like it or not. Its not like you and me can dictate that, so why being mad as if its fans fault?

I seem angry??

You took offense to me saying that some people would like an easy mode and your response to that was being passive aggressive by saying “play relaxing games instead” lol

I don’t care if they do add a story/exploration mode to the games but all I said was it would be a nice option to have and again I don’t see why that would be an issue for you since you only care about the challenge which I am sure they would not remove.

Point me what part of my post was agressive. You on the other hand was straight up rude, calling people stupid.

I think we derail enought, not gonna ramp up this thread with a pointless discussion about easy mode. Too bad you don't like Soul games, but like all games they're not for everyone.

Not everyone has time to blaze through a open world game in 7 days. Did you noticed that I said "which one are you putting up at launch?"

Also some people don't like playing two games at the same time.

Didn't say play both at the same time, I don't like it myself. Just finish one then buy the other one. And if you don't have enough time then that's a plus as you'll have more time with each and by the time you are done you might catch the other in sale. In case of limited time he should choose what he's more excited about.

I said the comment was stupid because its not cool to put someone down for not wanting to play difficult games.

Also I never said I did not like Soul games I said it would be nice to have a easy option

Horizon, not interested in playing over hyped stuff coming from From again. Had my fill after Sekiro

Horizon looks exactly the same as the first but prettier, and after BOTW, climbing in only marked rocks feels fucking ancient.
Horizon is a 100% wait for sale.

Elden Ring at least tries something new.

I would hope so considering Elden Ring is an entirely new IP versus Horizon which is a direct sequel

Horizon is a £20 sale game to me. Eldin Ring is a day one buy. Don't get it twisted that I'm knocking Horizon, no doubt does it look fucking good but I'm not big into the series.

Horizon FW has some pretty big improvements in gameplay

Kinda want horizon day 1, but if you have interest in both, elden ring is probably done with no dlc incoming, and from horizon history, it even got free over time so it's not hard to imagine it'll be discounted quite heavily in some weeks, and the 849sek pricetag is too hefty for a game thats not even including everything day 1 imo, so unless theres no early deals, I'll just wait until it's got a more reasonable price.

I got 3 weeks off at work, plan to game all the way with 2 ski trips in between. I hope horizon is a smooth sail to plat without any of that play the game twice - NG+ unlocking ultra-hard mode type of BS.

I'm ready.

Oh wow I forgot they gave the complete edition of Horizon for free.
Even more reason to wait and not get Day 1.

I'm still not even done beating Demon Souls PS5. I've beaten 9 of the bosses and I don't know how many more I have left

Almost every Fromsoft game gets a bunch of DLC and discounts, outside of Sekiro

I wasn't that hyped for Elden Ring until I started playing Dark Souls 3 a few days ago.

This is the first FromSoftware game I've played since Demon's Souls originally came out like 15 years ago.

Dark Souls 3 is already becoming one of my favorite games ever and I'm only like 15 hours into it.

beyond hyped for Elden Ring now. actually debating buying a PS5 to play Bloodborne and the Demon's Souls remake
Do it man. I’d skip 2 but I’d buy Dark Souls Remastered too if I were you. The DLC is immense in that game, and gave us one of the best bosses in the entire series.

I hope to just soak in this game for weeks.
But waiting for a general consensus first that it is indeed all that and a leather bag of chips. But an upgraded bag that holds more chips.

None.

I'll get H:FW when it's € 20 max. Elden Ring? Pass. I play games to chill out and relax, not to swear at and having headaches for.

Weird poll.

PS5 exclusive vs Multiplat game means the multiplat will always be ahead, but I'll be going with Horizon, loved the first one.
