Following the removal of Denuvo from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM, Square Enix has also removed the anti-tamper tech from TRIANGLE STRATEGY.

TRIANGLE STRATEGY came out on PC in October 2022. In other words, it took the publisher around six months in order to remove Denuvo.

For those unaware, TRIANGLE STRATEGY is a tactics RPG from the team behind Octopath Traveler. Moreover, the game features HD-2D graphics, similar to those of Octopath Traveler.

For the record, Square Enix has removed Denuvo from three games these past couple of months. These three games are The Diofield Chronicle, VALKYRIE ELYSIUM and TRIANGLE STRATEGY.

So now publishers are treating Denuvo like an exclusivity window?

At least that's what I gathered from reading the article and finding out that this has happened with other games.

Denuvo is a license the publishers have to keep paying to keep in the game, which is why they remove it after a few months instead of renewing.

Game like this does matter if Denuvo is removed, its the more CPU demanding game needs to get this poison out

Where is that tweet about Denuvo telling players the risks and dangers of not having them?
