I'm sorry for blaming Sony.

Maybe Sony did reject their requests for support but we don't have any evidence of that. I know they have the ICE which is supposed to assist with these types of things. In the majority of cases devs don't talk about it unless they want to make a statement which is what Larian did because the parity clause could potentially make a game miss Xbox.

True - but I don't think it's fair to expect the highest end CPU in the same year a console is released, especially when it had been in development for some time beforehand. IIRC, the Xbox Series X has the same CPU setup, with reduced cache and all.

Exactly Sony never again wants a repeat of the PS3 were they lost hundreds of dollars on every system.

It'll probably take me a couple of months to reach act three. Hopefully a few patches will have rolled out by then
