- DF mentions that FSR 2.0 requires a significant ms time in the rendering pipeline which explains could be why it wasn't in the Series S version
Hum.. I wonder if having the Series S running FSR2 Performance mode with 1440p output (720p internal) wouldn't put on a pretty decent result. The Series S waas supposed to be a 1440p cinsole after all.
Or they could get a "120Hz resolution" mode for the Series S with FSR2 Quality 1440p (1080p internal) but with 40FPS.

In the end, this looks like a very light or at least well optimized game. The Series S should have shined on this title.

I did some tests last night. Crippled my 5700 XT to 50% TDP (112W) to see what I get:

1080p native: 120 fps
1440p FSR2 Quality: 105 fps (rez is a bit under 1080p)
1440p FSR2 Balanced: 114 fps (rez is a bit under 900p)

FSR2 does have quite a bit of overhead.

I didn't find this game to be visually impressive at all (at least on Series X). But to each their own, glad it's using new tech.

That's actually pretty reasonable considering 1440p native would probably be 60-70fps I'm guessing. Care to test that?
