Only if they:
1. Keep the price to $399 or less, $299 within a year or 2.
2. They launch a 4k powerfull second unit just for Tv's that plays games at 4k (yes 2 so 2 sku's are needed)
3. Ms and Sony continue to be chickens and don't launch a hybrid of thier own. Either one with day and date exclusives would be particularly damaging to switch 2.
4. Valve doesn't launch a deck 2 with improvements at $399 and actually advertises it and takes it to retail. Combine this with Sony releasing thier games day and date and thst hurts Nintendo too.
They can't just sit back and launch switch 2 and do nothing else. It has to be better in a lot of ways. Better controls, nicer screen (use the oled), better looking, more powerfull (must be steam deck or better)
The second sku would open up the higher end console for them again......
