The Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2022 nominees and winners have been announced today across a number of different genres and categories. The big Game of the Year 2022 award went to FromSoftware’s, Elden Ring, and the mighty Monolith Soft’s latest adventure, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, walked away with Best RPG of 2022. The game which received the 2023 Most Anticipated award was The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Elden Ring is one of mt favorite games ever. But best graphics? Art direction, sure. But, actual graphics, it's below average for a modern AAA game.

Last time I checked Elden Ring had a total of 430 GOTY awards. The previous record holder, TLOU2, had 322.

Good luck to whoever is going to try and take the crown next. It ain't gonna be Zelda, this is far too crowded.
