"Capcom takes the safety of our players and community very seriously. Given the civic unrest that is currently taking place in Hong Kong, we have decided to remove Esports Festival Hong Kong from this year’s Capcom Pro Tour. This decision in no way reflects upon the tournament organizer, Cyber Games Arena, and has been done solely to help keep our community and players out of potential harm. If Esports Festival Hong Kong includes a Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition tournament within its production, the finalist will not be awarded Capcom Pro Tour points. The points / prizes allocated to this event will not be replaced with any new or existing Premier. We are, unfortunately, simply canceling his portion of the tour.
We apologize if this decision inconveniences any of our players, community members or production partners, but we hope everyone understands the spirit in which it was made. Our thoughts are with the people of Hong Kong during this difficult time."
