F14's "re-release" was in most ways a new game, so it's going to be hard for any revamp to match it just by updating the core already existing game.
The actual original F14 wasn't fixable.

Ngl, I enjoyed my time with the game a year ago or so, but I will return to it only if they update it to current gen. 60fps boost is nice, but resolution is puke.
