SMT are niche series, they are brutal and not exactly newcomer friendly, so despite all that I would it did pretty damn good.

I'm really glad KNY has flopped in Japan as Japanese customers weren't willing to spend their money on a quick cash grab project that was using the hottest entertainment property to lure a purchase from the masses.

I wouldn't say it did good. Doing good would be having a higher debut than SMTIV. So this debut is just okay.
