As always, if you see an infographic for a FGC tournament, it was likely made by acekingoffsuit. The guy makes stream schedules for every major tournament and he does it for free. You can find his twitter account here: https://twitter.com/acekingoffsuit

Also, the thread was made with help from the Fight Info FGC tournament calendar. The Fight Info calendar is run by https://twitter.com/MaliceIsGDLK

I was going to say that it seemed strange for Summer Jam to be running Exe: Late instead of Exe: Late[st], but apparently that concern was unfounded after checking the official schedule. In for that and DoA5:LR.

Let's see if the recent victory of MKLeo in Smash Factor gives him the confidence he needs to prove himself again in the US.

If Salem wins Smash Con or at least makes it to Top 8 he's going to completely decimate the PGRv4. He's well on his way to being a Top 5 Smash 4 player and finally solidifying Bayo as the best character in the game.

So stoked. Anyone know if Momochi and Nemo playing?
Nemo is there. I'm kinda bummed that Tokido isn't there, but hey, at least we get to see Aiai's Juri. Hopefully he does well enough so that we can see him play.

Its nice that Momochi and Choco got to make this a premiere event. Hopefully their students do well.

is there prize money for Japan Cup?

There should be. Only the regional finals have the Japan and Brazil disclaimer.

13. Prizes

i. Regional Ranking Event Winners: The Capcom Pro Tour will not award a prize bonus for placements at Regional Ranking Events, though a prize pool may be established and prizing may be awarded by the respective Tournament Organizer of each Regional Ranking Event.

ii. Regional Finals Winners (excluding Japan-located and Brazil-located events): The Capcom Pro Tour will award a prize bonus of $30,000 dollars at each and every Regional Finals. This award will be shared among the top 8 placements in each Regional Finals according to the following table. The prize bonus will be awarded directly by Twitch. Additional prizing will be awarded by the respective Tournament Organizer at each Regional Finals.

1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place 4th Place 5th-6th Place 7th-8th Place
$12,000 $6,000 $4,500 $3,000 $1500 (each) $750 (each)

iii. Global Premier Event Winners: The Capcom Pro Tour will award a prize bonus of at minimum $15,000 dollars at each and every Global Premier Event. This award will be shared among the top 8 placements in each Global Premier Event according to the following table. The prize bonus will be awarded directly by Twitch. Additional prizing will be awarded by the respective Tournament Organizer at each Global Premier Event.

Beats EVO champ one week, washed up a week later to a random Japanese player a week later.

OK, I've actually heard of Ponzaman but man it's nice to see what kind of talent they have there since most can't travel. We almost saw Verloren losing to a Japanese Laura player that I don't think anybody outside Japan has heard of.

Zero uses Lucina?

She's been a secondary for him for awhile.

ZeRo is damn good at Melee. If he put some decent time in it, he could probably be top 20.

Yeah, Armada even said he has the potential to be at the very top if ZeRo dedicated all his time to it. But why do that when you're already the #1 at Smash 4?

Also this Smash Con combo contest was ridiculous, especially this one combo in particular.

So Verloren almost loses(still wanted to mention it even though he won), Xiaohai lost, and now Dogura lost. Between their 3 opponents, I've only heard of Ponzaman who beat Xiaohai. No clue who the other two were.
