Everything about what they showed looked amazing, but having no date attached is a major miss when they really needed a slam dunk.

Normally dislike night time racing but this looks special.

It's weird, the nighttime stuff in the two videos (this and the 2022 video) were the sore thumbs for me in an otherwise exceptionally-looking project. The part with the fireworks last year was flat and unrealistic, and then the nighttime shot set in this trailer was the most videogamey parts of this video too. But then these screens look great (albeit it's not in motion, but the balance of light in these stills seems appropriate and attractive.) Nighttime cinematography does take a lot of "faking" to look like what you have in your mind, but many of those tricks and tweaks are still possible even in RT/GI graphics, and you can see in this snapshot that pools of light and dark with the arena lighting can look good in this engine. So I'm not sure if the lighting carries differently in play or if YT compression is flattening down the imagery just too much or what's up?

As long as its the best game it can be and is full of great tracks and features it can come out anytime in 2023 for me. We are already in February pretty much....Xmas was like yesterday wasn't it?

Only 20 circuits? Seems like they cut a ton from FM7. GT7 launched with 31 tracks I believe (34 if you include dirt tracks). Over 500 cars at launch is nice though.

It's pretty depressing that it's not a spring release anymore, probably gonna release in the fall. I also wish they included more tracks - 20 isn't enough even if they're supposed to be accurate.

Just a question/doubt: cubemaps are still being used right (maybe cubemaps + RT)?
Because there's part of the footage we can see reflection appearing abruptly in the red car hood (2:45).

god! hope its not native 4k
thats sure fire sign of wasted resources at this day and age of image reconstruction.

was same with gt7

The impressive part for me is the RTGI and Reflections in game, By the youtube video I'm not convinced the game is 4k/60 without any Dynamic resolution or image reconstruction, I saw a bit of aliasing in some areas, if it is true is very impressive. I'll give a go on PC Gamepass when it launches, I'm not that big on the main Forza series, I tend to prefer the Horizon spinoffs, but I'm genuinely curious to experience this game in person.

Is there a delay? Last I heard was Spring release and heading into this showcase MS stated the games shown would be coming out within the next few months. Did I miss something?

look at those porn level graphics. T10 never fucking dissapoints.

They’re basically rebooting it because the last game was so disappointing besides graphics. They’re really focusing on graphics when most people already expect Forza and GT to look great.

They haven’t shown realistic racing gameplay in their shiny new game, which is the stuff that will actually keep people playing.

I expect tomorrow on the Forza exclusive event to be a lot of gameplay.

Honestly, I thought it was gonna blow GT7 away. But so far it's been a nice improvement on some areas and it's worse on others, even though GT7 needs to run at 60 on the old PS4.

The environments are the star of this show, easily, and not the cars unfortunately. Lightning is much better than older FM games too.

If the physics are greatly upgraded we will have a great racing game, can't even doubt their career mode will be good.

The only thing disappointing about 7 was the hoppers and the short lived loot boxes. Campaign was awesome.

I’m not seeing a single aspect of the visuals that are worse than GT7 on a technical level.

Looking good so far. I just hope it has proper wheel support, FOV and seat position adjustment, 32:9 support and a good multiplayer mode.
