Gamestop allegedy hoarding PS5's and other consoles for black friday.

Look it up people buy consoles all times of the year holidays does something to people think about the opportunity to get a PS5 and proving everyone, during a pandemic, all gamers have shown is they position themselves to get consoles.

Even if they're doing it to sell them as bundles, at least it will deter scalpers. If you're going to end up paying like $800 for a PS5, you may as well do it through Gamestop and get some extra stuff like games and maybe an extra controller bundled in. If you buy via a scalper on eBay etc you're potentially looking at $800 or more just for the PS5 on its own.

Worked at GameStop years ago. We did this for all consoles. Held them back to have them Friday morning. Pretty common amongst retailers. Y’all don’t wonder how every retailer has them on Black Friday?

I have to agree that this is not a GameStop thing but a retailer thing. They're all doing it for all consoles.
