GDC 2022 provided a glimpse into the future of PS VR2 games

Not even that. The Zen CPU in the consoles this time is more than enough for VR. The whole reason for the Pro last generation was the Jaguar CPU they shipped with originally was barely suitable for VR. Sony knew this and why they timed Neo to arrive not long after the launch of PSVR so there'd be an option that ran PSVR better. It had nothing to do with TV resolution or frame rates (remember the PS4 was hitting 1080p when the Xbox was hitting 720p).

Pretty sure this is wrong. The Pro CPU is just 33% faster but otherwise the same, while the GPU is more than twice as powerful. They needed the extra pixel pushing power more than anything, PSVR games on the original PS4 are generally very low res (and that's 100% GPU, has nothing to do with the CPU).

If PD manage to get the full GT7 career ready for the PSVR2 then expect to find my skeleton wearing a headset sometime in the future 😂

People keep saying that - but it's not what actually happened?
Pro was built and marketed as a 4k upgrade, right along the hw-extensions to accelerate 4k upscaling. But yes - Pro also included hardware features to accelerate VR (resolution enhancements, above all).
So you could say it was built for both purposes - but it was never positioned/marketed (at consumers or developers) as a VR upgrade box. Which is why said VR features were left mostly unused by software (games had to run on base hw anyway, and you had 2x the GPU on the Pro, so why bother).

I thought the future of VR has been known for ages.

Are Sony not going to capitalise on this obvious market?

It would be a very smart move in terms of business to include at least in some way allow VR porn (even if indirectly like making PSVR2 compatible with PC, or allowing simple VR via web browser) but Sony America seems to have big issues with boobs or even attractive females due to wokism. They are even getting rid of the white hetero male protagonists of their games because of potatoes.

So I think no.

Porn? What no, I was talking about a VRChat or VR PlayStation home style space, how could the image I linked possibly be construed any differently?

Ah. In this case, I'd bet Haven's project is going to be pretty much that, a VR friendly PS Home like social game focused on interaction and communication with other players and customization, but I assume that adding a more light/chill traditional gameaplay on it, maybe something a bit like The Sims or Animal Crossing but with a bigger coop and social focus.

God I hope so, I really enjoyed my time with home back in the day, I remeber getting the platinum trophey for White Knight Chronicles and wearing the armour set you get in home for years.

also I was joking the image is tottaly for boobs in VR

I also forgot to mention that in terms of visuals it would have a more AAA / high end focus than VR chat or Home. Who knows, maybe they even use it as Sony's 'metaverse' or even call it PS Home 2.

I'd like a more evolved PS Home where you can fish and have your urban garden and sell the stuff to other players. But instead of making it as a very simple minigame to make it very complete being able to unlock a ton of rods ans baits, having a lot of different very places to fish, and a lot of fishes species to fish (may include fictional fishes or animals).

And who knows, maybe other player may make their own bar, restaurant or grocery store to buy stuff from players who like to go fishing or to have a farm, to transform them in other products and to sell them to other players.

Adding some roleplay stuff like in GTA Online. With maybe people acting even as taxi or ambulance drivers etc.

It also would be cool to have martial arts dojos, to train there people and then to have martial arts tournaments that other players could watch (allowing players to fight there or in dojos only, not to attack people in the street).
