FFB is broken for all wheels in 1.15 which is all over Reddit and GTP so I won't even bother and still can't sell duplicates.

What a great update! I can’t wait to get stuck into the time trials - this has always been where I spend most of my time with GT. The only thing missing is a new track, but I’m sure there are some on the way.

No new track or layout which is really needed, only 3 new cars one of which is a fantasy VGT and the other a questionably modified classic. How about at least giving us the actual car and letting us modify it if we want? At this point back in time GT Sport was getting like 8-9 new cars per update with a new track.

Edit: and you still can't sell cars.

This game was released in a much more complete state than Sport was tbh. That game was almost released in a beta state

I had hoped for more events and missions.

Still, a lot of awesome changes.
Is there not more events?

There's 3 new menu books, some kind of gr1 cup amongst some others that didn't sounds as exciting

I really enjoyed Gran Turismo 7 but once I had finished the relatively short campaign then I realised there wasn't really that much else to do. Getting Gold on all the licence tests is not my idea of fun, I'm afraid. Gran Turismo 7 is a great driving game with stunning visuals and ray-traced replays, for sure, but I really wish Gran Turismo 7 was a better *racing* game...

Events that aren't part of the menus, licence tests, missions, circuit experience, time trials, sports mode, splitscreen, custom events and music rally sounds like a lot to me.

FFB is broken for all wheels in 1.15 which is all over Reddit and GTP so I won't even bother and still can't sell duplicates.

They fucked the force feedback back 😆
At least that's what I'm hearing

They swayed it back the other way on FFB. Have to change the settings made manually that made it bearable FFB pre this patch… then will see it is improved and more detailed at least on Fanatec hardware. Pretty sure as the hours pass and a few people play with the settings they will all update Reddit with individual settings for each other wheel to feel FFB right now that they fixed it

Everyone has it as they drastically changed the FFB.
With new update I am more or less happy with these settings now:

SEN: AUTO
FFB: 100
FFS: PEAK
NDP: 50
NFR: 25
NIN: OFF
INT: 3
FEI: 90
FOR: 120
SPR: OFF
DPR: OFF

GT7 in Game Settings:
Force Feedback Max Torque: 10
Force Feedback Sensitivity: 1

With those settings the new FFB actually feels better than before because you no longer get the massive oscillations and the "over the edge" FFB behaviour is also massively improved where previously the FFB felt dull when driving over curbs in High speed corners and now with the new FFB you feel every curb and a lot more FFB Details in general in High speed corners.
Key is that you HAVE TO use Max Torque 10 now and I also have to use FOR on the wheel at 120 to get decent Feedback around the center but as said with this settings it actually feels better than before!

Yeah I heard kie saying that he can make it better.

Phew

I really enjoyed Gran Turismo 7 but once I had finished the relatively short campaign then I realised there wasn't really that much else to do. Getting Gold on all the licence tests is not my idea of fun, I'm afraid. Gran Turismo 7 is a great driving game with stunning visuals and ray-traced replays, for sure, but I really wish Gran Turismo 7 was a better *racing* game...
The missions are quite great as well.
Outside of the Cafe menus are also plenty of races to do at the World Circuts.

And the Sport mode is where the game truly shines, imo.

The following three new Menu Books have been added:
・Menu Book No. 40: Enter the 'Lightweight K-Cup'
・Menu Book No. 41: Enter the 'Vision Gran Turismo Trophy'
・Menu Book No. 42: Enter the 'Gr.1 Prototype Series'
Time to reinstall the game.

This is one of the most beautiful cars I've seen in my life! It kinda blends classic with modern aesthetic perfectly!

2. Café
 - It is now possible to receive ‘Birthday Present Tickets.’ Those tickets can be received from Sarah in the Café, and can be claimed a week before or after the date of birth registered on the player’s account for PlayStation™Network;
Of course, right after my birthday... I did like this feature from previous games so I'm glad to see it return.

9. Sport
 - [Online Time Trial] has been added to Sport;
 - New information have been added to the event details screen, and other information have been edited.
Glad to see the TT addition, Sport is one of my favorite modes.

5. Steering Controller
 - Fixed an issue wherein the game would crash if resuming from Rest Mode while using the Logitech G923 Racing Wheel;
 - Adjusted the force feedback strength of the THRUSTMASTER® T-GT / Fanatec® Podium / Fanatec® GT DD Pro. While using the steering wheels listed below, if the values of the ‘Force Feedback Max. Torque’ or ‘Force Feedback Sensitivity’ under [Controller Settings] > [Steering Force Feedback] options are set very high, the wheel may vibrate violently. If this happens, please set a lower value.

 ・Thrustmaster® T300
 ・Thrustmaster® T500
 ・Thrustmaster® T-GT
 ・Fanatec® CSL Elite Racing Wheel
 ・Fanatec® Podium
 ・Fanatec® GT DD Pro
I wish I could find (and afford) that GT DD Pro.

16. Others
 - Various other issues have been addressed.
I wonder if they adjusted the reward ticket RNG. Is it horrible for anyone else? I think I get the minimum reward 90%. I've started taking screen captures this week and I'm on a 7 ticket minimum reward streak.

If you only look at it like that, sure. I was there for Sport day 1 and this is still impressive with all the extra content added and fixes.
Oh yeah don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to downplay this at all... more that I am just excited for when things do ramp up, since I know it will. I just want there to be a bazillion cars so that the used and legend sections continue to feel fresh.

did they fix the issue where you turn off in-game notifications for music but they still pop up? I remember it being in the known issues list and then they didnt fix it.

overall FFB on the Podium DD1 has improved massively. It can feel a little light at first but there's definitely more feedback where before it was just plain resistance (mostly high speed corners). I set in game max to 10 right now and it already shows they are on the right track!
