I guess they're scaling it based upon demand? That's pretty shitty though, this scaling or price changings makes this game more like a Live Service than a normal game.

Scaling based on demand makes zero sense for something like that.

For anything that requires physical distribution or creation it can make sense (everything else being equal). But, I mean... Hopefully they don't get anything good out of this kind of behaviour.
