Yeah there are shooters today that are eating Halo's lunch like fortnite apex call of duty. Its not a top tier game like MS wanted it to be. But the game still has sizeable populations playing the game every day. Just not top tier. Just right below that since its been top 25 game since infinite's release.

And Halo's sandbox/gunplay is still unmatched in the FPS genre.
