Halo Infinite actor says game is launching in November 2021

Verlon Roberts also reveals he's playing Spartan Griffin in Halo Infinite

A Halo Infinite actor has leaked a November release date for the upcoming game.

Last week on the Fadam and Friends podcast, which you can see below, actor Verlon Roberts made an appearance to talk about his career. At around the one hour and 10 minute mark, the conversation turns to Halo Infinite, and Roberts comments that "now it's pushed to later November this year."

Right now, we don't have an official release date for Halo Infinite, outside of a Fall 2021 window. Roberts' comments would appear to narrow that release window down to November, which is actually the month in which Halo Infinite was scheduled to launch, alongside the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, before it was ultimately delayed.

Roberts claims to have access to this information because, as he reveals in the interview, he plays Spartan Griffin in Halo Infinite. The character, who originally featured in the Shadows of Reach novel, hasn't actually been announced for the upcoming game, so it seems as though Roberts might have revealed a little more than he meant to with these comments.

Honestly, I'm hoping for a great experience. I was never the biggest Halo fan, but I really enjoyed 3 and Reach. Especially the multiplayer. Of course I played 1/2 multiplayer all over the place as well.

I'm really hoping Infinite's multiplayer is similar to those throwbacks. I'd really love it in this day and age.

If it's that and/or better, put the Game Fuel in my veins and let's go.

They never confirmed a new date. They just said fall 2021 which is generally sep-nov for halo
I swore I read November before?

Not that important of course, I was just like, "Hmmm?"

Here's to hoping it's worth the wait through and through.

Crazy to think the intention clearly was to release this with the Series consoles up until that infamous demo, thats pretty close to a CDPR level of disconnection to reality

Going to come out Tuesday November 16th. There will be a special release/celebration event the night before because it will tie in with 20th anniversary of Halo: Combat Evolved on the 15th.

Well the worst thing is now that it’s known that the demoes leading up to the actual gameplay were done by a different group, it just felt like false advertisement to see those 4K textures from the first two demoes turn into, well, Craig.

i don't care. i just hope they've actually took the time to improve it. if they put out that ridiculous gameplay trailer and thought it was good enough then who knows wtf they think are doing right now.
Nah, I'm pretty sure they delayed the game so they could have some extra vacation time. They even pulled Joseph Staten and teams from Coalition and Playground because they knew those guys needed some time to relax.

I think we can all take this launch window to the bank. Which means we should get a proper re-reveal this summer. Very curious to see what an extra (unplanned) year of development and polish can do.

High hopes? Cause that statement can't be based on the footage we got previously.
Gameplay wise the footage was fucking awesome. The game looked to be performing smooth as silk. The level they showed and the atmosphere screamed Halo: CE.

The complaints were about graphics. They delayed a year to polish even further. This is going to be great. Whether you like it or not.

What a fucking tool. Complaints about graphics and graphics only does not even come close to actually releasing A FUCKING BROKEN AND BUGGED MESS. You people man.

I hope this won't be last big role for him. Too many Spartan Griffins have ended up as the plumber in a porn. 🥺 Anyway, great guy, great interview. 👍

Being I bought Master Chief collection on day 1, I wouldn't say 343 are immune to releasing a "Fucking broken and bugged mess."

Yet, here we are with the game getting delayed by (at least) a year. Clearly expectations were not met.
It probably wouldnt be as much of a broken mess as CP2077 hence the sentence ”pretty close to CDPR level of disconnection to reality”. Im not saying Halo would have been a broken mess, im saying that the disconnection between management and reality is of a similar level.
Or what else would you call showing of the game (pretty much your one and only launch title, that you are printing on the box of your new console) as being a launch title 3 months before release, only to then delay the game by at least a year? Isnt that a pretty damn high level of disconnection/lack of communication?
