Less a matter of need than benefit. Everyone likes a game that can load in 2 seconds.

The kind of benefit that definitely isn't worth the trouble of implementing some new tech for the devs.

I'm not a platform that supports it so wouldn't know.

I would go as far as saying that you are not a platform in any capacity.

No game as of yet that takes advantage of data streaming as a gameplay feature. Would expect it to pop up in a console game in the next couple of years (sad if it doesn't happen).

I would think that depends on the game in question. If it's game design that is made possible by the improvements in loading speed, then it would be a deal breaker to not have it.

It’s definitely a “winner” we just more games using it.

Like others are saying here, Starfield would be a great game to take advantage of it
