How I get the best sound out of a PS2?

I want to get the best sound possible out of my PS2. It's connected via. component cable and through a VGA box to my PC monitor. I could possibly connect a speaker like this and get good sound and that should be easy to do with the audio connects of the component cable.

However, I also wanna connect another speaker of mine that has those cables:

Problem is, I don't know how to do the later at least, I am really rubbish at this, so I hope someone can help me with this and perhaps tell me an even better method to get the best sound out of my setup.
I really need good quality audio from this.

Thanks in advance.

get a female to male RCA extension x2 and instead of plugging the red and white cable to the VGA box - extend them and plug them directly to the speaker amp in on the pic you posted
already like that, the red and white should plug into the speaker. its the additional speaker that I worry about.

Ehm, what are those?:messenger_tears_of_joy:
Have I mentioned I am rubbish at this?

x2 audio RCA Female to Dual 2 RCA Male cables - use them to split left channel and right channel of your PS2 component audio cables into two. Then you end up with x2 RCA male ends for left channel and the same for the right one. Connect one set of L and R ends to your main speaker and another one to your additional speaker using couplers.

x2 RCA Female to RCA Female couplers - use them to connect your additional speaker

Be sure that cables are long enough for your desired setup.

Could you link one of those; I don't seem to find the ones I need.

Edit: do you mean two of those

Also you can use this cheaper option. Use two of these for splitting your PS2 component audio

and two of these for main speaker (each one goes to different splitter)

and two of these for additional speaker if you need an extension(each one goes to different splitter). If not, connect the additional speaker cables right into each splitter.

As for the additional speaker, I need one of those
https://www.ebay.de/itm/2-X-Phono-A...362729?hash=item4da9ddbb69:g:-1MAAOSw131egexg to connect the out thats left from my PS2 component cable and two of those

Would this work? It makes most sense to me tbh.

Get some good component cables for good sound and picture. Actually the PS3 ones work pretty well and they are not hard to find.

It does not make sense. You need to split each audio channel (L and R) of the component PS2 cable to have two L outputs (connect one to main speaker and the other one to additional speaker) and two R outputs (the same here).

Anyway why do you want to have two sets of speakers connected to PS2? It won't provide you a 4.1 system.

Ah, lets just say I got my reasons.

I think I get it now though. I need two couplers, two of those rca splitters and four rca male to male cables.

I will get those and show a picture if everything is set and done. Thanks!
