Makes sense when you see the consoles that have sold more. From that chart it seems like the switch will probably surpass all of the Sony consoles by the end of the year most likely. It's crazy how the ps4 is not on this chart when you think about how many consoles it sold.

All of the other consoles are lifetime sales measured for the full market lifecycle of the systems whereas the switch is positioned where it is based upon a position in the middle of it's run.

Yeah, it's pretty impressive.

That's really impressive given it has only been on the market for four years and is significantly more expensive than the PSP, Gameboy, and 3DS.

Very impressive numbers. It will definitely pass 3DS. It won't reach Game Boy and DS though, unless it becomes super cheap like those two.

Remember, the Nintendo DS started at $149.99 and dropped as low as $99 if I remember correctly. Purely revenue wise, the Switch might already be #1 (or very close to it).
