It really is one of the greatest. Its amazing how little this movie has aged and just seems to get better with time. It also had peak Eddie Murphy imho.

The first thing I did when I got Netflix is put a "thumbs down" on all those Sandler & Schneider "comedies".
I do like Sandler in his more dramatic roles though.

I was just talking with friends about how there was about a 30 year window from mid 1970s to mid 2000s which was peak comedy and everything drops off significantly outside of that window, minus a few outliers here and there. My top comedy is probably OG Ghostbusters, simply because I watched a VHS recorded TV edit on repeat as a kid haha.

Totally silly, nonstop funny and entertaining. Over the top in every way.

And...

Kung Fu Hustle

A complete and utter comedy masterpiece. Don't think there's a better comedy.
