It was a failure looking it from every angle, PS3+PS4 SO5 will hardly match 360 SO4, retailers dropped the price almost immediately but still can't get rid of the stock, PS3 sellthrough is still below 60%.

It bombed hard, end of story.

One Piece sellthrough is bad too, it better shows some legs.

Japan console market is pretty much it. Now it's time for the rest of the Asia to fill the void. At least that's where Sega, SE, Sony and Microsoft are looking at.

I'm waiting for the slides to confirm but in terms of net sales and net income this was most likely their best year ever. Operating Income was bigger on 2010 though (FFXIII + DQIX).

I read somewhere that Minecraft Vita has sold over 1 million copies. That's nice if true.

I guess it isn't impossible if we count digital sales.

No publishers really aiming for kids anymore, while splatoon is a phenomenon there, like minecraft is?
Mobile is affecting GW.

Around 183 million US dollar. I wonder why they did so good last year. RoTR was kind of a bomb right? I hope every Japanese game company gets a new president like SE's.

This year they have DE: MD, HITMAN and FFXV. Next year KH3 and DQXI, then FF7RE. SE is killing it.

That is an absolutely monstrous number for a new console IP in Japan and being on the Wii U.

If the Wii U had the userbase of the Wii, I could only imagine that Splatoon would easily be over 3-4m.

Mobile. Considering how much mobile game had GW events planned during that time with competition and exclusive collab or gacha, it is no wonder where the money goes during GW here.

Setsuna, Star Ocean, Bravely Second all will be no more. Lets hope Nier would be able to avoid that hole here.^~^
