Notice of Ver. 1.4.1 distribution Ver. 1.4.1 for Steam version is available from today, January 29. The main changes include Steam Deck support for MGS2, MGS3, and bonus content. MGS1, MG, and MG2 are already playable on Steam Deck.

Tbh it was fine with just a couple of mods. I hadn't had a problem with it playing that way, granted that actual fixes are better though.

I’ve been awaiting this. It took them long enough. Another one I was watching for SD compatibility is Witch On The Holy Night, which just did the same.

If you don't care about missing half the advanced gfx effects and a few bugs here and there, it is playable.

Too lazy to do that but mgs2&3 were missing a file you needed to download and install in the folders in desktop mode. Without them the games had no audio in cut scenes.

Once you added the file the games ran perfectly. My favorite steam deck experience thus far. Couldn’t put mgs2 down.
