God, don't put thoughts like that in my head. Now I got a big clean up jobI want a reimagining of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, with David Hayter as Solid Snake, and Kiefer Sutherland as Big Boss.
Now this is something that would seriously get my attention...I want a reimagining of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, with David Hayter as Solid Snake, and Kiefer Sutherland as Big Boss.
MGS is his series. Why not make your own story?Kojima really, really isn't the only person in the world able to write a decent spy thriller story.
In fact, dude hasn't hit a homerun since MGS3 and that was fucking 18 years ago.
Do we always ahve to wait until someone is dead before someone else takes over? I think Kojima lost it a long time ago and actually hasn't writting anything astounding since MGS3. He's just way to much up his own ass. No one else can write shit like him and go through with it - and I think that MGS would be much better off with all the nonsense he has written in after MGS3. So I'd say lets give someone else a go.MGS is his series. Why not make your own story?
Oh wait I know: MONEY.
I'm going to be real, Kojima is both the best and worst of MGS. I can't honestly say I'd be that excited for a new MGS without him, for all his faults, he still made a game that plays better than 99% of any other open-world type games I've played. The worst part of MGSV, the story, was Kojima’s fault. Konami could have given him an extra 6 months of development and it would still have Skullface, still have the vocal cord parasite, still have Metal Gear Sahenlanthropus being more advanced than REX and only fitting a child in the cockpit, still deliver most of its scenes through audio tapes, still have Snake barely say any lines, etc
MGS is Konami’s series. Always has been, always will be. Like movies someone else can come in, direct, and make an another great product.MGS is his series. Why not make your own story?
Oh wait I know: MONEY.
Liquid snake after the revealWhenever this gets revealed, i'm gonna have a Solid Snake in my pants.
VR VR Missions: now with real VRMetal Gear Solid Remake with a VR mode would be insane
Maybe they’re not planning a new entry, maybe it’s just a BluePoint styled remaster, made by an up and coming BluePoint successor, who could it be though?Someone can definitely assume the helm of a franchise while the creator is still alive. Kojima himself wanted that since MGS3 was in development...
Thing is, who will it be? How many Metal Gear titles need to flop without Kojima for the detractors to admit he was part of what made the original series what it was? Or will it always be the current developer's fault?
I told myself I wasnt really interested in a MGS remake. Then I remembered the "Just like old times..." when you pick up the SOCOM at Shadow Moses in MGS4, and how it made me feel back then.Give me a beautiful looking Shadow Moses with all the snow flakes
