Planning on going on a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Rivera in October. Starting off in Los Angeles then heading off to Cabo San Lucas, then Mazatlán, Mexico and finally Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Each place we are stopping for one day. Anything that is a must see or to do? This is my first time visiting the Mexican Riviera so everything is fresh to me.

I hear the back alleys and out of the way spots are especially fun and safe in Mexico for tourists.

I've visited Nogales before and that doesn't sound very safe, but i don't know what the Riviera towns are like.
