Not exactly thrilled by the number 1 slot, but it goes to show just how many people play switch on the forums despite most posts inside gaming being Sony or Microsoft focused. So grats to BotW.

While Monster Hunter World didn't make the top 20 it was pleasant to see the FF7 Remake, Neir Automata and Persona 5 getting near the top, alongside Deus Ex at number 20.

But 2021 just did not register at all, I thought Forza Horizon 5 would be higher given the lists people where posting in the thread, a real shame.

Come on, "never" is a long time. You never know when an awesome job comes up that pays well. In the meantime, just save a little bit every month, sooner or later you'll have it. It's not like it costs a fortune, a quest 2 is 300$ on amazon

Not a bad list, this forum is very FromSoftware heavy and the list reflects that. I am happy to see Deus Ex on there, and a bit surprised that so many on here love the FF7 Remake that much.

you will but the better question is should you waste money on VR for one game? I wish the VR scene would get more games like Alyx, story focused, big budget and all that but so far in that department it's dead. If there were at least 10-20+ games like Alyx it would be much more worth. Not really interested in other VR stuff.

Not a list I could agree with, but there are some good titles over there for sure.

I would remove TLOU 2 while leaving the first one, and also remove GoT.

Put GoW a little bit lower, raise Persona 5, and finally add Yakuza 0 and Monster Hunter World.

I haven‘t even played many of these, but solid list, I guess. I’d only take out Dark Souls 3 and replace it with… I dunno, maybe a Xenoblade game? The list already features two FS titles, both of which are far better than DS3.

Other than the souls games and Nier I do like almost every game here that I've played. BotW and Witcher are predictable but they are deserving.

Good list. Some thoughts:

• Half Life Alyx deserved higher but understandable for a PC-VR game.
• Nintendo ranked pretty low overall. Smash, Kart, Crossing, Splatoon, Donkey Kong, etc didn't even make the top 50. Not saying I disagree, just surprising.
• From Software killed it. Really need to give their games another go.
• Deus Ex top 20! Good job GAF.
• Ranked at #67, Mario Kart is the highest ranked racing game on the list followed by Forza Horizon 5 at #72
• No sports games
• No Rocket League
• No Knack (clearly a miscount?)

The top 3 are the same as the top 3 of the gen, but i expected Witcher to win.
Good list overall.

A physics tech demo, a card game, a beast cutting simulator. No complaints.

Top #1 and #2 are so interchangeable in my book. On any given day if someone were to ask me what my favorite game was it'd solely be based on how I feel at that moment whether it's BotW or W3. Overall, great list. Glad Half-Life: Alyx got some love, wasn't expecting that. Alyx is an amazing experience.
