About the PS5 pricing....
Like its been pointed out ppl were buying from scalpers and outrageous bundles from retailers that were alot higher than $50 over retail.
The increase sucks....but it wasn't and isn't the end of the world.
And the price wasnt increased in NA. But looking at the UK charts.... and seeing it still doing ok numbers in Japan...

A number of analysts slapped by Jim at zero impact from the PS5 pricing.
The PS5's price had no increase in the U.S. (which is what NPD tracks), but to your point the markets that did get the price increase have shown it had no effect on the system's sales.

Software is going to be real weak in the next set of earning calls;
US revenue down roughly 9%

Its clear sony has been undervaluing the ps5 based on the price increase globally. People are still paying reseller prices for them.

But someone here told me that the PS5 had no chance at all at being on top in September due to Splatoon 3 and the bundles. Told you so. PS5 just needs the stock and if it has it Switch has no chance.

40m units? possible. 10 days till the next earnings call. I am expecting ~3.5m units (based off UK,EU,JP data although maybe Switch and Xbox have had bigger issues than I thought) which means 9.2m in Q4.

Xbox at third in their main market is what it is. Can’t imagine things changing with Spider-Man 2 coming next year, that will keep PS5 flying.

There is nothing wrong with someone buying an updated version of a game they love. Doesn't matter how many times (hello Skyrim!). It is their money and they are just video games. I don't think calling these people fools is warranted at all.

Boy Vanguard was really a sales turd by COD standards hey? #7 for the year (pretty sure the previous year's COD has always been at least top 3 for the next year) and actually outsold by Cold War this month lol.
