As with most things, it's a small group of people who make big money and most only make a little bit.
It's like with Streaming, the overwhelming majority of Streamers don't make a living off of it, they either make nothing or a tiny bit on the side.
I just find mainstream porn gross, especially the typical Brazzers stuff it feels like they're always in an extreme rush and exaggerate to such an insane level I find it off-putting.
It's way more appealing to me when people in porn act like actual human beings and also don't make constant noices endlessly at all times.
Sometimes it feels like they're acting as if they don't make a noise for over a second they'll die or something, there's almost like an insane desperation behind it.
I don't really throw money at OnlyFans but I can see the appeal a little bit.
It's a bit more humanized I guess because a lot of them are also active on social media so they feel a bit more real and a lot of them also do cosplay porn so there's that appeal too.
And since they're not '' professional pornstars '' I'd imagine that they don't behave like an insane person on camera and it probably feels a bit more like real sex/ masturbation and not as fake.
Amateur porn is far superior imo.

Well yeah I fully agree here, the thing is there is plenty of amateur porn available online for free. Onlyfans is some weird different thing. I checked it out of course since it's a "thing" but I just don't get it. I guess it offers the illusion of knowing a hot chick, being able to communicate with her even in this highly controlled manner for money. In other words: can I see/search who is on there (e.g. teaser profiles) without having to pay?
That depends entirely on the content creator. They choose what non-subscribers see. You might get five-second previews, you might get a static image, you might get nothing. You don’t need to enter payment details upon registration, but to see anything remotely interesting/pornographic, you’ll need to give your dollar.

Most have channels on YouTube and people steal the porn content and upload to free sites. Just look up the name, if you like them and it's nearly guaranteed they're on some free site. I'm not condoning the practice, they should be paid. It's just what happens.

Thanks guys, but even if it doesn't sound too credible, I am indeed mostly interested in browsing the catalogue. Because if I want free porn, we all know that the internet is full of it. I also have already "inspected" a few OnlyFans leak collections, and sure some girls do look attractive (some do not), but it is completely beyond me why anyone would pay money for a bunch of smartphone videos and pictures. I think the main reason to actually pay is getting the ability to exchange "personal" messages with the girl in question. Personal in quotes because they are probably not personal at all in most cases which is why it appears to me not only as a waste of money, but also a waste of time.

I can’t speak for all creators on OnlyFans, but the people I know who work on OnlyFans do very personal messages. You’d be surprised at how genuine some of them are. Remember, these aren’t your average adult entertainers, they’re regular people.

I think this argument can be made for a lot of other things too, people pay for a lot of content they could get for free.
Sometimes you just want to support content that you like, and everyone has a different financial situation some people just have a lot of money and throwing a bit isn't a big deal to them they don't even notice it in their wallet.
I mean people throw money at streamers and Youtubers too that they could just watch for free because they want to support.
As far as I understand too if you pay them you can get custom stuff too?

On a personal level too I do feel like people deserve compensation for work they put in, and if you make your own costumes and spend a lot of time on staying fit and taking care of yourself which ultimately A LOT of work goes into there's a reason why few people look that good. And also hire a professional photographer or actually set things up yourself which does seem to be the case with a lot of the cosplay ones especially ( even giant set pieces etc ).
