Oscars: New Inclusion Standards Announced to Qualify for Best Picture

This has been the unwritten rule in Hollywood for years. Now it's just written down. Basically the formula is: anything that has to do with gay, trans, black or otherwise liberal feel-good topics makes the cut, as well as films that are about Hollywood itself (La La Land, Once upon a time in Hollywood, etc.).

This is complete and utter horse shit. But what do we expect from a corrupt organization that gives a best picture oscar to Shakespeare In Love over Saving Private Ryan? And how does Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction and Raging Bull (amongst MANY others) not win Best Picture oscars? They've been a joke for a very long time.

The irony in all this truly does make 1984 such a prophetic work.

Way to unnecessarily damn the very change you are striving for, Oscars. Bravo.

As a Jew myself, I gotta bring up the elephant in the room...

Does Judaism count as an underrepresented ethnic group... at the Oscars? LMFAO

"We were almost disqualified but luckily we found rare and underrepresented Jewish Producer and Writer talents. So brave."
