Various people have various tastes, good or bad. Most things will 'be asked for' by at least a small minority. So stating 'who asked for this' is just pointless.

Most people, the way they use 'cringe', tbh, make them sound like a redneck country buffoon with their shitty grammar. "how cringey" would be appropriate.

All of this is super spot on...

"How cringe" makes you sound like you have sex with you parents.
