It's so so good and hilarious that Overwatch 2 is the worst reviewed game on Steam of all time.

Like, have fun trying to rationalize THAT to yourselves. It can only be the fans fault, right? Review bombing happens all the time, to the best of us, right?

Edit: They should take the "critically acclaimed" part out of the description, it's like too much of a parody right over the review average. Especially when tacked next to "optimistic future"

There's this pathetic loser kid with no job (he's 32 and lives with his parents) who comes to the bar I work at with his laptop just to play Overwatch. He buys one beer and doesn't tip, just wants to be able to use our internet since his parents refuse to let him stay inside all day to play video games and smoke weed. He tries to strike up conversations about "video games" with me, but literally all he plays is Overwatch and CoD. Total fucking incel with 0 personality. He's also super fidgety and has no attention span.

He actually left his laptop open one day while he went out back to smoke some weed, and he left it on a page where he was watching Overwatch porn. Well, I shared it with the rest of the people at the bar and we had a big laugh. From that point on he gets so much shit from our regulars, lol. I let him stick around so we can all clown him. This is the image I have of a person obsessed with Overwatch. Dude is definitely gonna get punched in the face one of these days.

You were using the progressive form though, as if it was still in the process of declining. That is not the case, if you look on the right of the graph. The moving average seems to indicate a small rise even.

Make a good product that doesn't treat users like piggybank morons and you'll get good reviews. And dont do the usual video game marketing crap promoting features and then not having it. Out of all the games released, there's only a small number that get bombed with horrible scores. If a game is one of them, there's something they did they pissed off gamers.
