Play VR games on a bus just by wiggling your fingers!

Video,

Waving your arms to control your actions in virtual reality can lead to you accidentally punching things in the real world, but now software can help you control your virtual limbs by wiggling your fingers
You could soon be playing virtual reality games on the bus, thanks to a headset that translates the twitching of your fingers into much larger body movements in the virtual world.

VR headsets normally require a large space to use safely, because the games they run tend to require gesticulating
ting and other large physical motion. “The problem is that you might not be able to use whole-body gestures everywhere. Imagine you’re on public transport, you might hit someone,” says Wen-Jie Tseng at Télécom Paris, a university in France.

So Tseng and his colleagues have created software called FingerMapper

You can now play your games looking nuts in public by waggling your fingers.

This will allow you to play your VR games anywhere including cramped spaces, by your fingers imitating you holding a controller with this program. Making you look crazysophisticated.

Imagine this on a train or in the middle of your local mall.
