(not so) Secret confession: I opened the psn store last week thinking of buying Gta5 only to discover I already bought it, but can't remember when. I know I bought it 3x (ps3, sold it when I upgraded to ps4, then bought it for Ps4 and sold it later, and apparently bought the digital version on ps4, but don't remember that).

Surprised but also not surprised that The Callisto Protocol didn't crack Top 20 in either PS4 chart, while it was #6 on PS5 in US/Can & EU. Guessing it had a niche audience that's mainly on PS5 by now

Last of Us Part 2 still going strong. Regularly on these lists still. With the show both games will probably see a boost too.

Not surprised though that Part 1 is only doing decent it seems as everyone was given the remastered for free with the PS5.

Either way the PC release is really the main reason for that game I feel.

Most people got the last of us remastered free with the PS5 is probably the reason and it was also free on PS Plus as well if I remember correctly.

The real reason for making Part 1 is the upcoming PC release and the influx of new people that will come from the show.

But yeah it's definitely not because of Part 2 doing any harm because that is still making these top sales lists even 2 years later so the legs on Part 2 are clearly quite good

Ragnarok dropped like a rock. Also, NHL beat out LoU Remake. Wow. According to old sales charts, the NHL games only sell around 1M copies spread out across PS and Xbox systems. And most of those sales are surely front loaded in Sep/Oct when the seaon starts.

I'm sure the majority of the PS5 early adopters where these subscribers and considering the amount of games Don't where offering at the time it was a no brainer if you hadn't played those games.

The free or not part is irrelevant to the conversation at hand anyway.
