PlayStation VR2 |OT| I heard it has a single cable. Is this true?

I still can't buy it. I'm in Canada, but we use the same store.
See if it works for you through your web browser. At least I checked without being logged into my account, and the option to buy does appear.

Close to finishing Moss 2, are there any other sitting down VR games fellow lazy-gaffers can recommend? I do not accept suggestions of Kayak VR.

Bought s&s 2 and the upgrade for 1 and downloaded the ps5 version after.

I am for some reason having to increase the sick slider more to baby mode in this game.

But enjoying it.

GT7? There's also that weird game where you move an anime girl around to solve puzzles... that seemed like a stationary experience. I recall hearing it was actually not terrible, which surprised me.

Well, I can safely say that I have stabbed a lot of undead in the head. I don’t know if I’ve missed a trick, but I currently don’t have a gun, even though I thought I’d picked one up in the bus. S&S 1 btw. I miss the axe already haha.

I thought shall I go through this gate. Yea why not. And there was an axe. Oh yea. I'm sure I have a gun though and one with no barrel

The axe is a fun weapon! Just gutted that it didn’t last long. I can’t seem to figure out how to hold the undead heads to keep them at arms length like I’ve seen in the previews. I just end up getting chomped on.

Is there really not a package for Walking Dead that has all content? I'm not seeing one on the store and googling for it sends me to an unavailable page. What the hell do I need to buy? Am I reading these correctly?

S&S = base game only
Tourist edition = base game and actual playable content
Aftershock Tourist = same as other Tourist edition but was previous PS4 version
S&S2 = base game
Payback edition = base game and extra stuff that's not playable content

I own nothing already and want both chapters. Do I need to buy Tourist edition and chapter 2?

You can buy the deluxe edition, which I believe gives you all the content. I bought it using the app.

There was a bundle that is seemingly gone now.

You should be able to buy both individual games available on PSVR2 from the store. If you have S&S1 already (free from PS+ for example) then you can buy the Tourist Edition upgrade (PS4). After that the PS5 version of S&S should be able to be added to your library.

Thanks, this worked for me.

I just managed to do this. Think you have to time it right and press and hold the inner button to hold them back. Did this multiple time and stabbed them or shot them.

S&S lead me into a false sense of security. What I thought was going to be a quiet area, turned out to be a zombie fest and I had my first moment of panic when being chased by around 10 of the feckers until my stamina ran out and I was killed rather comedically, having thrown my axe instead of whacking a zombie on the head 😂
My incompetence astounds even me at times.

Played 2h in Synth Riders.
Very intense and exhausting title, but also probably the best rhythm game I've ever played. Damn, that’s something incredible. Every PSVR2 owner should try it.
Agreed. It’s probably one of my favourite games this whole gen, VR or no VR. It’s just crazy fun and addictive. The way the orbs match the music is perfect and gives each song its own personality.

What happens if you die after accidentally throwing away your weapon?

Can you get another at your home base?

While still new at this VR experience I do feel a bit of a downgrade when going back to flatscreen games.

Like going from a high end escort to the crackwhore on the street corner with one leg shorter than the other.

Ok it's not that bad but you catch my drift? 😄

I feel the opposite. I play a flatscreen game everything looks so tiny, even on my huge TV and there's no depth perception. It's just soulless by comparison.

You can sit down and play most games including saints and sinners chapter 1 and 2.

After play a lil village can we get a dead space remake vr update. Grabbing and reloading guns in vr is still too clumsy dunno what the fix can be with this.

I just had to pay to upgrade from the PS4 physical disc 'Complete Edition' of Saints & Sinners (which includes all the Tourist Edition content) to get the PSVR2 version. That should have been free.

The S&S1 release and upgrade situation has been a shitshow. Thankfully the game is excellent.

Damn... the dev said it was free but also a couple of month ago they said it was free for everyone so that sucks.

S&S1 is a little weird for me... the character's arms feel too long and lanky. Makes interacting with stuff and aiming weapons pretty awkward. Any way to adjust this? I couldn't find anything in the settings.

So just to be clear, there is no way of getting S&S1 for free on PSVR2 even though I own the PS Plus PS4 version?
It seems the only way to get it for free is if you own the Digital Tourist Edition.

You can't get it free with the PS Plus Standard edition or the physical Complete Edition.

I don’t believe so unfortunately.

Played s&s1 for a couple of hours. What a great game! Loved sneaking around the mansion at the start.
So is it that I need to buy the tourist edition upgrade and then I get the PSVR2 update? I also have PCVR but S&S1 is still full price on steam.

Was hard to buy S and S1 since its not in the PSVR2 section. First hour was good thou. Maybe a touch over rated, I swing the axe like a baseball bat full speed and barely damage a zombie but half speed vertical wood chop is an easy one shot? I like it and will really dig into it tommorow.

They say in the tutorial that the speed of your melee swings do not matter. Faster swings don't do anything -- it's the length of the motion that they use to determine your effectiveness.

Seriously, does Alyx compare to S&S?

I feel like this game is a truly revolutionary title, giving me some serious “next gen gameplay” vibes

Feels like the template of how to make a meaty ass AAA VR game
I actually enjoyed s&s more than Alyx… I’m probably a rare exception though. I just felt they played it too safe with Alyx possibly being afraid of causing nausea for people and wanting it to be a mainstream game that everybody can play.

As vr devs get more experienced I think they’re realizing people can tolerate quite a lot and my guess is if valve does another vr game they would be more balls to the wall.

So apparently having these super, comically long arms in S&S1 is some old problem / glitch. Supposedly it can be fixed, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

I knew something was wrong... there's no way that was intentional lol.

Hopefully I figure this out because, even though it's funny, it's totally obnoxious and kinda game-breaking.

Hmm? My arms look big and long but not what I’d call comically long.

So, if I stretch my real arms and the controllers all the way out (irl) the arms in the game are still really bent at the elbows. It's like the arms of some creature. I'm also way too short. It's a bug or something.

S&s1 is pretty impressive I must say. Detailed environments, nice atmospherics, mobs are pretty effective. The audio’s quite good too. I’m constantly amazed that vr games can be so immersive.
Gonna give COTM a going over today.

btw any potential devs reading this: please make a sci-fi styled res evil. Doesn’t have to be horror but a nice mix of combat, explo and puzzles against a sci-fi setting would be great. Think (going back a bit here) Level 9’s Snowball in vr with the Nightingales and maybe other mobs roaming the ship. TIA.
