PSA: Elden Ring hackers are locking players in infinite death loops (PC Gamer)

When you bought Elden Ring but got Russian Doll instead:

But that's the whole point though. They can't do it on consoles.
You'd also have to pay a monthly fee to be invaded on consoles.

Paid services have to comply to a better quality standard, at least theoretically.

It is. Diference is on pc almost always the games have anti cheat and players are banned. On console there are players never banned or even being detected using adapters/scripts.
Yeah I've run into cheaters on console. They ruin everything. In fact they make ME want to cheat just to teach them a lesson. I would be a righteous good cheater.

I'm not sure I agree with your statement. Apparently cheating on PC is way more of a problem and downright commonplace is some games, is it not?

Both console and PC have there trade offs. But I'll never go PC because of two things: cost (unless i win the big one) and cheating.
yes its more common, but fuck if i ever even encountered one cheater on a souls game. i mean, my shit has been rare to none encounters in 30 years of pc gaming. its hyperbole, its exaggerated. saying playing on PC is shit cause of cheaters is just making a retarded as comment. at least we dont pay for online which is ridiculous.

You never play a FromSoftware game on PC without backing up your files. Hackers and Cheaters have been running rampant since Dark Souls 1, this is nothing new.

I can count on one hand how many hackers/cheaters I've encountered between the thousands of hours I've played online games in the last 15 years. It's so rare, that when I hear people bring it up like it's a daily occurrence I can't help but laugh with how ignorant some console warriors can be and what they'll say to justify their plastic box of choice.
