Im hoping for a shorter generation rather than pro consoles.

Why ps5 pro and xbox pro in 2024? Just bring the ps6 in 2025 and the new xbox. Generations dont need to last 8 years

id prefer that too.

but with all this cross-gen garbage, new consoles are basically the pro version of the old ones.

wonder if ps8 will just have user-swappable components/modules, including CPU and GPU, and they'd advertise the "8" as an infinity sign, being like "ohhhh it's infinitely upgradable lol"

AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card benchmarks have been leaked within Geekbench 5's OpenCL & Vulkan performance tests.

It'll change by a game by game scenario but dam had Nvidia sold the 4080 at $999 the XTX would have been made almost redundant.
