I appreciate the article is paywalled, but there's enough in the non-paywalled link to know what you've said is missing the mark.

The claim is clear. He knew of old cases because he handled their settlement. That does not mean he knows about every single incident that has ever occurred or simply alleged to have occurred.

His prior claim was that he was not aware of many of the specific allegations made. Nothing in this story disputes or counters that claim. One even goes as far as explicitly making that evident.

If you once told me that your first car was blue it doesn't mean I know about every single car you've ever owned, but you could still make the headline that I knew about your car history.

One claim was made in 2017 or 2018 I can't remember off the top of my head. It was taken to law enforcement but no charges were filed.

Most of the allegations involve heavy drinking by both parties involved so take that into consideration.
