Thank God they didn't completely follow through. My first and only Yakuza experience was Yakuza Like a Dragon and is one of my most cherished gaming memories.

Probably has more to do with the 'scandal' surrounding Nagoshi, evident when his demotion/departure coincided with the increase in Sega's multi-platform efforts.
