How can Sony make some other gaming console/platform smaller? All that other platform has to do is release some great games.

Oh wait....

Phil’s right. That wasn’t the full quote. He went on to say, Xbox’s vision of gaming is different. Xbox wants the whole industry to grow, giving people more options and access to games.

It’s clear Sony just wants people on PlayStation hardware. Although they have been moving games slowly to PC, and not day one.

They are aiming to grow PlayStation by:

Expanding into genres they don’t traditionally serve.
Expand into PC gaming.
Expand into mobile.

So far Xbox is the only platform who has actively taken established series or games permanently away from users of other platforms.

Is GamePass not trying to disrupt PlayStation’s business model and harm them?

This is Phil speaking out both sides of his mouth again. Both Xbox and PlayStation are growing into new areas while trying to eat as much of the existing pie as possible.

Say you know nothing about business without saying you know nothing about bisiness.

Comments like this expose so much ignorance and you see it all the time on here.

Do great games help? No doubt, but it is a much smaller piece of the puzzle than you seem to think.

Dude needs to learn to quit talking. Make some damn games instead of just trying to buy the competition out.

How many years has it been now? Microsoft's contribution to the overall gaming library has only gotten worse under this guy. The glory days of the early Xbox 360 days are just becoming more and more of a distant memory
