I can't believe there is still this much fervor over a franchise that should have never been a franchise to begin with. The original team couldn't recapture the magic, sure as shit no one else is going to. 2016 was lame and the backlash against it is lame.

The poor box office of the recent movies shows the audience simply doesn't care. All this drama over 230 / 175 million shows what a tempest in a teapot this whole thing is.
