At least on Series S there is serios visual bug when indoors(especially cut scenes) there is weird distortion effect on character models.

I want to see Force Unleashed next gen version..
Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing the Force Unleashed 3. I would rather play an action packed Star Wars games that makes you feel like a Jedi badass over something slower like Fallen Order to be honest. I would take HD remasters of the first two in one collection if that was a choice, though.

There is nothing similar to Tomb Raider in it. It's more of a souls-lite game.
All the big puzzles certainly gave a big tomb raider vibe. Don't remember anything of the sort in Dark Souls 1 or 2 (granted I haven't played the other soulsborne titles)

This game is every tired 3rd person cinematic action game trope from the last 10 years in one bland package and the souls combat is a clunky ripoff. Fallen order offers nothing.

This is so next gen that I swear I can't tell the difference between before and after on series x , it literally only loads faster that is it the game still looks extemely soft in performance mode , there is absolutely nothing next gen in this update on series x

I mean, yes, the difference is the game is running on a $500 console rather than a $1500 Computer from two years ago.

Lots of people had to play it at 720p-900p on console with stutters everywhere so this is an improvement for them.
I'm just saying it's dumb to be calling it "next gen" at this point.

Looks identical on XSX as the Xbox One X version running on the Series X. Quite a let down.
This is the problem with Series X being as flexible as it is and PS BC being hamstrung, these "Native PS5" games still aren't catching what the bc boosted Xbox games are.

Smart Delivery fucks Xbox owners on this game.

I don't want my game dumbed down to the PS5 version, when it was doing better without it.

I am still trying to figure out what this next gen update brings to the game because it looks exactly the same to me.

I only made about 20% into this from release. The other similar unfinished game in my list is Middle Earth Shadow of War (probably 60% in) but the semi open world in this maybe pushes me more in the direction of this game. Shadow of war was like 80% chasing map icons.

Faster load times? Absolute horse shit.

Been replaying on the 5 and while visually it looks slightly better, load times are NOT AT ALL improved, to the point where I thought my game had locked up because they were taking so long.

Are you sure you are playing the PS5 version? Because loading is near instant for me on the PS5 version.

Yes dude I am sure. When I die the loading feels like it’s close to half a minute.

Maybe I’ve just been spoiled on Ratchet but it’s terrible
It depends, if I drop from a cliff I respawn instantly on the edge again, if I die after I made some progress from the last mediation circle, the game need to load for a few seconds, I feel no difference from the pre-patch version. Also the game still stutters and doesn't deliver smooth 60fps all the time.

I hope we get an analysis from Digital Foundry to see what is really going on.

It is indeed a pretty piss poor “upgrade”

Just updated around 2.1 GB on SX. loading seems better than the last(the other day) update, took around 12 seconds to load my save from the main screen where as the other day seemed around 90 secs and the graphics seem a bit sharper but I was really tired plus hay fever when I tried it the other day so it may have been my eyes.

Yeah... They made the game worse on the series S: increased the size to an extra 11 gb, removed the possibility to play from an external hdd, broke the quick resume thing, frame drops, 900p and added a bunch of visual bugs...

Yay EA!

Looks a little better to me on PS5 in certain areas from what I remember, now I can finish it.

Well it turns out that the ps5 version and directly read ps4 saves. Got my platinum auto popped for the ps5 version. Kudos to Respawn.
