Celebrate the best video games of 2021 and see world premiere announcements of what's coming next in 2022 and beyond.

In the Game of the Year category, the titles Deathloop, It Takes Two, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Resident Evil Village and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will go head-to-head for the ultimate prize.

In the most anticipated games, we are dealing with the cream of the crop, namely Horizon Forbidden West, Breath of the Wild 2, God of War Ragnarok, Starfield or Elden Ring.
Deathloop and Ratchet & Clank are among the most nominated games, all categories combined.
It's also nice to see that some less popular but equally impressive games have been included in the list, like The Artful Escape, Kena Bridge of Spirits or Death's Door.

Geoff Keighley stated that between 40 and 50 games will be shown during the show. Among them, more than ten have not yet been officially announced in the eyes of the world.
So surprises are indeed to be expected.

Keanu Reeves will returns this year alongside The Matrix comrade Carrie-Anne Moss. Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be there too.
Musical guests include Sting, Imagine Dragons and The Game Awards Orchestra, conducted by Lorne Balfe, will provide musical accompaniments and interludes throughout.

All you have to do now is vote for your favorite games on the official site !

Cool. I couldn't give a flying mouse poo which games are nominated or win, just give me those sweet sweet reveals:

harry potter GIF

I'll watch the stream with my old internet friends EZA in ass quality with talking all over it, but with the benefit of the added hype factor and then watch the direct feeds afterwards.

why not just use normal text orientation

Anyway, I'm excited. I just laugh at the adverts and shitty music performances. Everyone who doesn't enjoy it speak to your local spice dealer and get some well-made brownies and its transformational. If you're not into the devils lettuce then try vaporising some alcohol/Nitrous Oxide. If not into the devil's moisture or the devil's parp-gas then have a nice strong coffee and biscotti.

If you aren't into the devil's soft marching powder or the devil's light speed-liquid then just clasp your hands and bask in the love of Jesu Christi. All these things will allow you to relax and increase your enjoyment of TGA. Adverts can't hurt you, but they can make you sad if you get angry at them :lollipop_sad_relieved:

Same as every year. I try not to be hyped, but deep down I still have hopes and dreams. Probably not going to stay up for it since it ends at like 5 or 6 am.

Gaf ever consider creating a thread to deflate your hype for the TGAs? I'd be doing you a favour if I did one but I can't be arsed.

I won't watch this live because of the timezone and because usually the announcements are too much spread out between ads and cringe moments, but I hope there will be cool trailers to watch the day after.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2's movie poster got revealed, the trailer is apparently being shown during The Game Awards tomorrow!

Those bastards better not go back to abomination sonic. Crusher of my childhood memories.

Watch Mario look nothing like Mario in his first movie.

Is there anyone watching this actually for the awards? For me the whole award thing is basically the time to go to the toilet or do other stuff.

At least the recent tweets mention games not on the "leaked list", so we can probably be sure that it was fake.
