Ever since 1998's METAL GEAR SOLID, the MGS series has been at the forefront of 'cinematic games'. In this brief, musically-themed video, I argue that pivotal to this 'cinematic' style has been the use of theme songs.

Join me as we go through each MGS in turn, briefly focusing on the lyrics and music of each vocal theme; and how it not only connects to the individual game in question, but to prior games in the series as well.

What a coincidence, I’ve been watching this channel’s MGS videos in the last few days. But this man’s idea that good and evil are relative (it comes up in a TLOU2 video) is complete garbage.
