Microsoft shut down the arcade store for the original Xbox, along with the dlc. There's no way to acquire those games outside of piracy.

The store was closed but you can still download purchased GFWL games, even the client works on Windows 11. GFWL used the Xbox 360 api so as long as that's functional, GFWL will continue to work.

The authentication and matchmaking service was GFWL. That still works.

But the store was Games for Windows Live Marketplace. That go longer connects and hasn't for years now. So yes, all purchases from there are gone.

I should know. I've been on and off bugging Microsoft on Twatter about where the fuck my games are for years.
