I think it's going to be a good show this year but i don't expect to see a lot of new announcements.

So no main Sony show this year? That's what I always looked forward to most about TGS. Will there be any major showings to stream besides sony? I see the schedules but wondering how these work vs E3

TGS has been off my radar for so long. This year looks to have some decent showcases.

I imagine TGS 2020 will be even better (same goes for E3)

Really looking forward to the Death Stranding gameplay demos, new Yakuza gameplay, Nioh2, possibly a new trailer for FFVIIR and I seriously hope that Capcom announces that they're continuing remastering the Onimusha series with 2.

Looking forward to SEGA AGES.

Even if they don't show Saturn/Dreamcast stuff, please can we have some Master System and Systrm 16 stuff like Kenseiden and Alien Syndrome?.

Falcom needs To announce Tokyo Xanadu 2 or London Xanadu.

Would be great if we finally see something from Gen Design.

It really would be. Feels like forever since Fumito Udea was last in the spotlight. Dude is one of my favorite designers in the industry.
Giving his track record, I'd imagine we won't hear nor see anything substantial until next-gen platforms are officially unveiled.

I'm not sure where his relationship with Sony still stands, but I hope to see their game debut on PS5 (and possibly PC?)

Gonna be there, gonna be hot, but it's gonna be the best show of the year as usual.

Look at the bright side - Days 1 &2 for you press guys are much better than the sweaty hot mess of Days 3 & 4, with a gazillion randos and some tourists traipsing around. I won't be there this year but please if at all possible post links to your coverage here. I'm sure GAF would appreciate it.

11:45 to 12:15 – Shenmue III Stage – Shenmue III director Yu Suzuki and guests introduce the features and core of the game, as well as discuss the impressions left by previous entries and the guests thoughts on playing the upcoming sequel. Featuring Yu Suzuki (Ys Net prseident / director and writer), and guests Masaya Matsukaze (Ryo Hazuki voice actor) and Haruka Terui (Shenhua Ling voice actor).

Yu Suzuki on a SEGA stage.... talking about Shenmue... It almost makes me believe we can all be young again.

Suzuki-san was at the 1999 TGS, twenty years ago, and Shenmue had a presence. This is the flier they distributed during the show:

It's way too early unfortunately. Fumito Ueda said that they have just finished the prototype phase and now they're looking for a publisher interested in their concept to actually fund development so the game is probably at least three years away from release. It will be interesting to see who will pick this up, I don't think that Sony is a given.

Looking forward to see more of Nioh 2, FF VII Remake and maybe Resident Evil Project Resistance. Still not sure if i will enjoy RE Project Resistance as that was rumored to be a 4 vs 1.

IN for Death Standing, Elden Ring, and the new Resident Evil.

EDIT: And hopefully a new Splinter Cell while taking Gamestops claims with a huge grain of salt.
